Yoga Therapy for Management of Fatigue, Stress and Pain

Yoga Therapy for Management of Fatigue, Stress and Pain

Monday Evening Yoga Therapy - 7 Week Course.

This Yoga Therapy class will offer you an uplifting and revitalising start to the week. The therapeutic elements of this course focus on stress reduction and the calming of the central nervous system which can be beneficial for those experiencing stress-related illnesses.

You will be taught safe and established Yoga movements which are suitable for complete beginners.  These practices reconnect you to your inner strength and allow you to gently bring attention to different parts of your body in a controlled manner, allowing you to feel safe and avoid movements that are unsuitable.

You can expect to learn calming breathing practices, mindfulness techniques for stress reduction and gentle yoga movements that suit your body and needs.

The underlying philosophy of this course is inclusivity. We understand that life with a chronic illness, injury or disability can be isolating and sometimes people let go of movement practices, excercise routines and hobby related socialising due to new life limitations. At our Yoga Therapy courses we keep class numbers low so that each participant is seen and feels safe. The benefits of joining a weekly group course are not just physical but social and emotional too. It can be such a joy for new participants to discover how much they can do and how much they enjoy the group dynamic.

We advise you make contact in advance and discuss any questions that you may have and ensure that the course is right for you. Course teacher Roisin Kenny will be happy to listen to your needs and accommodate you as best as possible during each class.

It is worth knowing that some people book a one to one session in advance of joining the group. In this way they meet the course teacher Roisin, they ensure their own peace of mind and gain confidence in their abilities. We are happy to discuss this with you if it is something that feels appropriate.

We look forward to welcoming you on this wellness journey and to supporting you on your yoga mat.

*Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing, chairs are available for use.

  • Yoga Therapy

I attended a ten week course with Roisin Kenny because I was suffering from anxiety and stress due to personal circumstances in my life at that time. I found the classes to be relaxing, beneficial and enjoyable and I would highly recommend them.
  • Private Yoga Sessions

I first started yoga with Roisin a year ago after a severe break to my arm. Roisin offers a wonderful gentle class, tailor made for people with injuries or other challenges. Her approach is supportive and understanding of people's different needs and I found the postures and yoga nidra highly beneficial to my recovery. I've since gone to Roisin for 1-to-1 pregnancy yoga, which was an excellent class with clear direction, instructive postures and relaxing mediation.
  • Private Yoga Sessions

    Nuala Fenton, Cork
I was fortunate to have experienced one to one yoga sessions with Roisin Kenny for a few years. It was after I had had a spinal surgery (neck) and the classes really helped my recovery. Mobility, back pain, strength, focus and sleep, all improved. Our private sessions helped my confidence to return.

As an athlete and somebody who enjoys attention to detail and anatomy, I attend Rosin’s Vinyasa Flow Yoga for Sports as it is intelligently designed to complement and support the stresses my body endures. Mentally I feel energised and destressed while my body feels more mobile and supple when I attend.
