Mindfulness & Gentle Movement

5 week course ~ Open Level.
This course combines mindfulness meditation with gentle mindful movements. It is an inclusive space welcome to all abilities. Chairs will be available.
Mindful movement or 'Asana' (i.e. physical yoga poses) encourages awareness of the present moment through bodily sensations. The sequences taught will offer nourishment, vitality and relaxation. This experience provides a lovely holding of bodily awareness from which to begin mindfulness practices.
Each week new mindfulness techniques and ideas are introduced in an accessible manner that is easily transferable into daily life. Both seated and walking meditations will be explored together.
